芊芊有个很好的朋友叫小曼，小曼是个哑巴，她回家探亲时，芊芊送给她一个相机，然而小曼一去不复返，谁也不知道她的下落，后来才知道小曼已经诡异死亡。作为小曼好朋友的芊芊决定寻找真相，她跟着吴威一行人来到了远遥村采风。

芊芊表面上是采风，实际上是寻找小曼死亡原因，还原真相。小曼是戏班班主的女儿，身有残疾，不会说话，她被发现时已经暴尸荒野，怀里还抱着木偶，大家都以为小曼是被鬼魂害死的，然而真相并非如此。

芊芊来到远遥村主要是想知道小曼之死的真相，其他的都无所谓，就算小曼变成了鬼魂，也不会伤害她，所以芊芊什么都不担心。这部电影跟《纸人回魂》和《灵偶》的题材相似，都是以惊悚和灵异为主题，属于伪灵异电影。

Who made any other scary puppets?

In fact, all of this is man-made, and the murderer just wants to cover up the truth. The heroine Qianqian is a college student. She was also in the team of Teacher Wu Wei and witnessed everything.
