剧情简介

忠直仁厚的当红股票经纪方进新与贫穷粗鄙的丁蟹相交数十年，却被丁蟹在冲动之下打伤并住进医院，醒来后不仅失忆而且智障。出院后方进新病情逐渐好转，丁蟹为求撤销报案误将方进新打死。从此方家一落千丈，遗下四个子女，幸得罗惠玲照顾，而丁蟹则流落台湾。

十多年后，方进新长子方展博长大成人，但却一直投闲置散，后得其父亲旧友叶天的教诲，正欲发愤图强之际，得悉丁蟹已潜逃返港，他誓要为父亲讨回公道，奈何丁家儿子丁孝蟹、丁利蟹是黑社会大哥，势力庞大。

方展博几经奔走，终使丁蟹被判极刑。但连串恶梦亦因而展开：先是幼妹方敏不堪压力而跳楼，接着是妹妹方芳和方婷被黑社会的人从楼上扔下来。至此，方展博唯有远走台湾。

另一方面，丁蟹以患癌为理由，获提早假释出狱，虽失意于旧情人罗惠玲，事业却一帆风顺，更有意进军股票界。后来方展博得退休毒枭周济生青睐，退休华探长龙成邦之助，偕红颜知己阮梅及龙成邦之女龙纪文回港。之后方展博与方婷好友陈滔滔秘密部署，拟把股票市场变成宰杀仇家的屠场。
