为了掩护同志们撤退，余光明带着团队的人留下坚持坐镇，也都付出了生命的代价，敌人部队包围上来，几个所有人都扔在了土坑中埋了，但却并未发现余光明和李光宗的身影，王不死拿着手榴弹想要炸死所有人，但是因为大夫的身份而下不去手，结果被活埋。

项山等一些红军被活捉，高半城威逼百姓交出更多的红军，阿莲挺着肚子拉看项山，项山告诉阿莲马青山就是她哥哥，阿莲激动万分，没想到是马青山，马青山还为他们主持狗婚礼，也算是相认了。为了逼迫项山交代红军的去向，高半城要杀死阿莲一尸两命，却突然有人打黑枪，打中阿莲的同时也打中了高半城，项山悲痛不已，呼喊着阿莲的名字，接着项山等俘虏的红军大叫红军万岁之后也被枪杀了。

松毛岭的这次战役虽然损失惨重可是为中央红军撤退做出了重要的贡献。朱音也带着伤员成功撤退了，看着余光明战斗过的地方含泪敬礼，似乎是再向余光明道别，这些英雄的音容笑貌都在眼前浮现，李革命也发誓一定会回来。
