新版《流星花园》也是由柴智屏操刀改编，主角是：沈月、王鹤棣、官鸿、 梁靖康 、吴希泽。新版《流星花园》讲述了平凡女生杉菜与贵族学校F4逗趣的青春故事。

18岁的高中女生杉菜进入了贵族学校，但是由于不是富贵家庭，所以杉菜显得与这所贵族学校格格不入。学校里有四个外形阳光帅气，家境富裕的学生：道明寺，花泽类，西门和美作。道明寺很自恋，自觉得有着逆天的颜值，风度翩翩能驾驭任何发型，花泽类对别人的事没有兴趣，他只关注藤堂静，美作博爱，西门彦喜欢茶道。
四个大男孩就这样进入了杉菜的世界，道明寺频频整蛊杉菜，穿杉菜的鞋挑衅，却被杉菜一脚踢趴下，我董杉菜可不是好欺负的！这下可惹恼了傲娇的道明寺，从此之后道明寺经常捉弄杉菜，暖心的花泽类每次都会帮助杉菜解围。与F4打打闹闹的过程中，顽强不屈的杉菜逐渐改变了四人对她的看法，变成了朋友。道明寺对杉菜也由讨厌转变为喜欢，两人经历重重阻碍最终走到了一起。
