《人鱼》主要围绕韩郝为营救困在实验室的儿子，与不明生物人鱼斗智斗勇的剧情展开。樊少皇扮演的韩郝是一名水产司机，他独自带着儿子韩小川生活，父子相依为命，有一天，韩郝在送货途中遭遇不明生物攻击，等他醒来后，发现儿子不见了。

还没等韩郝反应过来，就遭到人鱼怪物的攻击，他开启了逃亡之路，同时也在寻找韩小川的下落。后来，韩郝结识赵楠和郭油条的等人，得知他们所在的地方是被全面封锁的实验室，专门用来研究人鱼生物的，要想逃出这里难上加难。

实验室里隐藏着好几只人鱼，它们都拥有强大的攻击性，韩郝一行人无法逃离，只能与人鱼斗智斗勇，多番周旋，场面刺激惊险。韩郝在逃亡过程中发现了幕后黑手的秘密，最后谜团将会揭开。
