《风起陇西》荀诩和陈恭的目的就是找出烛龙，一个为国家除害另外一个则是证明自己的清白，随着剧情的展开我们知道烛龙是蜀汉谍探的首领高堂秉，他将消息泄露给曹魏，也是他导致了陈恭妻子翟悦的死亡，但高堂秉抓住了，为什么谍报还是源源不断的在泄露，这足以说明高堂秉并不是真正的烛龙。
