Tianji Pavilion wants to assassinate Liu Ziye, so it sends Suzaku, who looks exactly like Princess Shanyin, into the palace to approach Liu Ziye and complete the assassination mission. Rongzhi discovered the change of the princess, and became interested in Suzaku after many trials. He also offered three strategies for her, and saved her many times when Suzaku's life was threatened.

In "Phoenix Prisoner and Phoenix", both Rong Zhi and Suzaku have their own identities. They lurk in the Southern Dynasty for the benefit of the country. Suzaku pretends to be a princess in order to assassinate Liu Ziye. Suzaku and Princess Shanyin are twins, but they were born and grew up in different environments.
