So the two sides agreed to exchange hostages before the two armies. But when Xia Houyuan was sent back to Chen Shi, Huang Zhong shot Xia Houshang to death, which provoked Xia Houyuan to fight. Huang Zhong used his sword trick again to behead Xia Houyuan and seize Dingjun Mountain.
