2017年1月24日，《Running Man》方面发布声明，宣布将继续制作，取消停播决定，六位成员将继续奔跑。同年4月3日，梁世灿和全昭旻成为《Running Man》固定主持。同年5月14日，官方公布将制作《Running Man》的动画版，角色将设定在2013年的动物王国中7位固定成员上，之后也陆续公布了预告片以及主题曲。
