周伟知道了他的父亲周继成去世的真相，是因为周继成在部队的时候，和高四海不和。后来高四海犯了错误，被周继成训斥后一直记恨周继成，于是再后来的战场上，高四海丢下了受伤的周继成独自撤离了。这也是导致周继成牺牲的原因。

于是得知真相的周伟陷入了魔障之中。正好高四海又提出了开棺验尸，所以周伟就开启了他的复仇计划。在DNA检测这天，周伟利用赵月娥故意安排的停电半小时，偷偷的将赵月娥提供的许家禄的腿骨替换了许家福坟里烧焦的腿骨，又把许军的血浆换成了许家禄儿子许达的血浆。所以DNA的样本就是许家禄和许达。而这件事的后果就是刘志坚因为抑郁去世了。
