《重生之门》里廖双不是卧底，在前面的剧情里观众以为廖双是廖德同的女儿，其实她和廖德同同姓只是巧合。廖双是入职两年的新人警察，罗坚的得力助手，性格柔中带刚，干练直爽的办案风格秒杀同队的男警察，同时头脑灵活，善于伪装周旋，常被罗坚委以重任。

该剧讲述了出身“盗贼世家”的天才大学生庄文杰（王俊凯饰）意外卷入“睡莲”案，结识了精明能干的警官罗坚（张译饰），之后二人合作共同破获多起离奇大案，并让尘封多年的“洛神失窃案”谜底得以揭开，成功捉住真凶、捍卫正义的故事。
