《向往的生活3》的播出时间是从2019年4月26日起，每周五晚22:00在湖南卫视开播。这一期节目的固定主持人是黄磊、何炅、彭昱畅、张子枫，而前两季的主持人刘宪华因为个人工作原因暂时退出。

在《向往的生活第三季》中，加入了一个女主持人，她就是张子枫，张子枫其实和彭昱畅有过合作，两个人合作的电影《快把我哥带走》备受好评。而这一次，张子枫则以妹妹的身份来到乡下探亲。

在这一季中，他们四个主持人来到了湘西蘑菇屋，而且前几期的小动物们也一起来了。在节目的看片会上，节目组还正式宣布张子枫成为节目的常驻嘉宾，而张子枫和彭昱畅这对兄妹组合也是备受期待和关注。
